Switches Niterói side, Rio de Janeiro

I moved for cheaper rent and it cost me my entire social life

Looking for
somebody on this side, or somebody who genuinely does not mind the trip
Experience
Six years, both directions, and eighteen months of nothing since moving.
Around
Niterói side, Rio de Janeiro

The flat is bigger, the rent is two thirds of what I was paying, and I have seen four of my friends since January. Nobody says they will not come. They simply do not, and I have stopped taking it personally because I would probably be the same.

Thirty, on this side of the water, switch, six years. Before the move I had a small circle of people in this who all knew each other and I could ask questions and get warned about things. Losing that has been worse than losing the neighbourhood. I had not realised how much of feeling safe in this was simply knowing who everybody was.

What I would honestly like first is to know people over here. There must be some. Coffee, a conversation, somebody who does not need the basics explained.

Beyond that: a long even switch dynamic, both directions, nothing heavy, and a great deal of talking. I lead slightly more but I would not want to give up the other half. I live alone, I can host, and I have a whole spare room, which is a sentence I could not have written two years ago.

Not looking for anybody who will agree to come over and then not. That has happened three times and it is worse than being told no. Not looking to be somebody's occasional day out.
