Our idea of a good weekend is not leaving the flat. We cook, we read, we argue about a television programme, and at some point somebody phones to ask why we did not come to the thing and we make an excuse. We have been doing this for ten years and we are entirely happy.
Thirty three and thirty six, south zone. This has been part of our life for six years, at home, between us, and very good. What we have never done is meet anybody else in it.
We would like to find another couple who are the same. Not for anything, at least not at first. For dinner, at ours or at yours, and a long conversation with people who do not have to have anything explained to them. We do not know a single other couple in this and it is strange to have something this large in a relationship that cannot be mentioned anywhere.
If in a year that became something more because all four people wanted it, wonderful. We are not writing this as code for that and we will not push. He leads at home. She does not, and is not quietly hoping to. That is settled.
Not looking for a single person. Not looking for a couple who want to meet somewhere loud. Not looking for a first meeting that is anything other than four people at a table, and probably a second and a third the same.
