No car in a city this size, which decides absolutely everything

I do not drive and this city was built by people who assumed everybody would. Every journey I make involves two buses, a wait, and an arrival in a worse state than I left in. I have made my peace with it for work and I have not managed to make it work for anything social after dark.
Thirty two, São Paulo, switch, four years. My one real dynamic lasted a year and ended when she moved to the other side of the city, which sounds like nothing and which turned an easy twenty minutes into ninety and two changes.
So I am being specific about geography, which feels petty in an advertisement about a private life and which is the actual deciding factor.
What I want is somebody I can reach reliably, or somebody who drives and does not mind, or somebody who is happy for me to stay rather than leave at ten to catch the last useful connection.
I lead slightly more than I follow, I am interested in rope and rules, and I have very little interest in pain.
I work from home four days a week, so I am unusually free in the daytime, which is worth mentioning because it seems to be rare.
I share a flat with my sister, who knows nothing about this, so hosting is difficult but not impossible with planning.
I am friendly and I overshare and I would be very happy to be friends for a while first. Everybody here seems to want that anyway.
