I came from the coast and I have not adjusted in six years

- Looking for
- somebody warm in a city I still find strange
- Experience
- Thirteen years, two dynamics, both of them back home.
- Around
- the west zone, São Paulo
I moved here from Salvador six years ago for my husband's work, and then the marriage ended two years after that, and I stayed because by then I had a job and a life of sorts. What I have not got used to is that nobody is ever outside. Where I am from, the street is a room that everybody lives in. Here, everybody is inside a car or inside a building.
Forty eight, São Paulo, submissive, thirteen years. Both my dynamics were back home, in a circle where everybody knew each other and nothing was ever arranged in writing because you simply saw people.
What I want is a long domestic arrangement. Rules, service, correction, someone who knows my week and expects things of me. Very little impact and a great deal of ordinary contact.
What I would also like, and I am aware this is not what a personal advertisement is for, is to know people. Six years and my social life is three colleagues and a neighbour. I have started to understand why everybody here talks about the city the way they do.
I live alone in an apartment with a balcony I sit on every evening, I can host, and my hours are regular.
I am warm and loud and I hug people I have just met, which I have learned to restrain here and would rather not have to.
Not looking for anybody who wants to explain to me that I would like it here more if I made an effort. I have made six years of effort. Some of it is just the size of the place.
