Everybody I like in this city gets transferred somewhere else

In nine years I have had four connections here of real substance and every one of them ended because the other person was moved to another state. Not one of them ended because of anything between us. I have started to feel like a stop on other people's careers.
Thirty five, São Paulo, switch, nine years. I was born here, which in this city makes me a minority, and I am not going anywhere.
So this post is aimed, quite specifically, at other people who are from here or who have decided to stay. There are more of us than the rest of the country assumes. We tend to know each other, which is its own problem, and it is why I am on a board.
What I want is one person, over years, either direction. I lead slightly more than I follow. I am interested in structure, service and restraint, and I have very little appetite for pain in either direction.
I am also happy to hear from somebody who is here on a posting and knows they will stay, if you are certain, and I will believe you, and I will also be slightly braced.
I live alone, I can host, and my work is ordinary and predictable.
I would like to be friends first, which in this city means a lot of long dinners at somebody's kitchen table, because nobody wants to cross town twice in one evening.
Not looking for anybody who describes this city as soulless in the first message. I have heard it eight hundred times and it is lazy and it is my home.
