My rota and this city between them make presence almost impossible

People talk about long distance and mean another state. I mean the other end of this city, on a rota that changes every fortnight. There is no evening I can promise a month out. There is no Saturday I can promise at all until the list goes up, and those two facts have shaped nine years of my private life.
Forty four, São Paulo, submissive, nine years. One dynamic, which lasted six of them, conducted almost entirely in writing with someone at the far end of the city who I managed to see perhaps once a month. It ended last year when she wanted somebody present, which was fair and which I saw coming.
So I know exactly what I am asking for. A dominant prepared to run a real structure through writing: instructions, daily reports, rules that govern how I spend a week nobody else is watching, and a call at a fixed hour. That is not a substitute for presence. It is a different thing and it can be extremely demanding, and the six years I had were not a compromise.
There is a small circle where I work and I know it and it is not for me, for reasons that are mostly about privacy in a building where everybody's business travels.
I live alone, I work in a hospital on shifts, and I have a great deal of time in the middle of the day.
I would rather you were honest at the start about whether a couple of afternoons a month is enough. Most people say yes and mean it and discover otherwise in month eight.
