We will host anything. We have the room, the privacy and the time. What we have never once managed is to persuade anybody to make the drive more than twice.
Forty seven and fifty, the west, together twenty one years, twelve of them with this.
Here is the pattern. Somebody is enthusiastic. They come once and love it. They come again a month later. Then the third arrangement gets rescheduled, and the fourth becomes a conversation about how far it is, and by then everybody is being very polite with each other. It has happened four times and we no longer take it personally, but we would like to break the cycle.
So we are being direct. If you live in the inner city or the eastern suburbs, please think honestly about whether you will drive out here fortnightly for two years. Most people will not, and the ones who say they will are usually imagining the first visit rather than the eleventh.
We are looking for one submissive, any gender, for a long arrangement with a defined role in it. He leads, I am involved, and we have done this properly twice before. Not looking for anybody who wants us to travel to them, which at our age and with the hours we both work is not going to happen. Not looking for occasional.
