The drive is a decision about money as much as time, and I will say so

I drive everywhere and the tolls add up, which is not a romantic thing to put in a personal advertisement and is nonetheless one of the real reasons I have said no to people.
Thirty six, the west, switch, seven years in. Getting to the inner city and back is an hour and a half of driving on a good run plus what the road itself costs, and doing that twice a week is a decision about money as much as about time. I have made it before, for somebody worth it, and I would again. I would simply rather not pretend it is nothing.
What I want is somebody within about forty minutes, in either direction of role. I lead slightly more than I bottom. I like something regular, structured and unglamorous, running over years rather than months.
I should say that I am blunt and I have been told I am hard work in the first month. I ask direct questions. I do not do the phase where two people are careful with each other, and I have learned that some people need that phase and that I am simply bad at providing it.
Not looking for anybody who will suggest I stay over as a solution before we know each other at all. Not looking for anything in the eastern suburbs, which from here is not a relationship, it is an expedition. Not looking for occasional.
