I am thirty eight and I live with three other people, two of whom I found through an advertisement. There is no polite version of that sentence. It is a rental market rather than a lifestyle choice, and after a divorce and a bad couple of years it was what I could get.
The inner west, submissive, ten years in. I bring it up first because it decides most of what follows. I cannot host. My door does not lock properly and one of the housemates works from home in the next room. Even a phone call requires me to go and sit in the car.
What I am looking for is a dominant with their own place who does not treat the sharehouse as a character flaw. Two people have gone quiet on me at precisely the point where the living situation came up, and I understand it, and it still stung both times.
What I offer is a lot of attention and a very steady temperament. Ten years in, three dynamics, one of them six years long. I know how to be led and I know how to say when something is not working, which took me most of my twenties to learn.
Not looking for anybody who wants to be sympathetic about the housing. Not looking to be rescued. Not looking for anything that has to happen at my place, which is the one thing I genuinely cannot arrange.
