Half of what I want happens outdoors, so this is my season

- Looking for
- one person, north of the water, who wants a whole Saturday run properly
- Experience
- Twenty years, and the best of it has happened on foot.
- Around
- the north shore, Sydney
Half of what I want to do with somebody happens outdoors, and in this city that means the cooler half of the year. From about May to September the walking is perfect. In February it is unbearable and I turn into somebody who complains indoors.
Forty nine, the north shore, dominant, twenty years in. What I mean by outdoors is nothing that would alarm anybody or involve being observed. Long walks, whole Saturdays, conversation, a structure that lives inside an ordinary day. Some of the best hours I have had with a submissive involved a track, a thermos and a clear set of expectations about how the day was going to be run.
The indoor part exists as well and I am not going to describe it here. But if the outdoor half sounds like filler to you then we want different things, because for me it is at least half of it.
I am after one person, long term, reasonably fit, over thirty five. Somebody on the north shore or the north of the city would make the logistics far easier, though I will travel for the right person and I am realistic about how rarely that turns out to be necessary.
Not looking for anybody whose idea of this is entirely indoors and after dark. Not looking to be anybody's guide to the outdoors. Not looking for somebody who agrees to a walk out of politeness and then spends it looking at their phone.
