What interests me is your Tuesday. Not your Saturday night, not an evening with a plan attached to it, but the ordinary running of a week: when you get up, whether you have eaten, what you have been putting off, and the state of the place you live in.
Forty two, the west end, dominant, fourteen years in. The dynamics I have been happiest inside were almost entirely domestic and administrative. I set the shape of somebody's week and they report on it. Over months that becomes something quite profound, and it photographs terribly, which is possibly why so few people post about it.
To be clear about what this is not. It is not me telling you to clean my house. My house is my problem. The order runs the other way round. What I am interested in is somebody's own life being run better than they would run it alone, and in being the person it is answerable to.
I would like somebody who is a bit of a mess in ways that bother them. Not in crisis and not in need of rescue, but somebody who knows they function better with an external structure and has never actually had one.
Meeting weekly is realistic. The daily contact is the actual substance of it. Not looking for anybody who wants to be punished for missing things, because that theatre does not interest me. Not looking for somebody in a genuinely difficult situation who needs support rather than authority.
